The Woodlands Have Hushed Their Songs

The breath of paleontology still stays in the blades of grass,

The secret of fossils is suspended on the dust.

A rainforest has survived for ten-thousand years,

There are stones waiting to cross the lake.

Daylight is carrying sounds

like the leaves that hold the sleeping birds;

Water is carrying colors

like the songs of cicadas that disturb the dawn.

The blazing fire warns me do not walk into the flame,

Only in this way can ash remains the traces of the years.
