BLUE ROBIN

I have heard her sing in the spring,

Surrounding by the new greenness,

Her clenched soft hands were like the curled tender leaves.

I have heard her whisper in the twilight,

As furthest as my eyes could reach,

Her voice faded as a mast sailed away.

I have heard her murmur in the drizzle,

Damming to form the shadow,

A dream was born under her gaze.

I have heard her breath in my side,

Rowing across the blind night,

Hearing sense caught her love testimony to mine.
